The Museum of Moscow on Zubovsky Boulevard opens a new exhibition

For the first time since the middle of the last century, the exhibition presents a significant part of the museum's collection artifacts (about 2,700 exhibits) to the public, and offers tourists an overview of the city's development, its territory, and the life of Muscovites from the 1st millennium BC to the present day. The specifics of the museum collection's formation determined a special optics of the view of the city's history. The viewer's attention is focused on the everyday culture of the city dweller, the everyday life of Muscovites of different eras and classes, and on the image of the city formed by the hands and ideas of its residents. The first part of the exhibition is now open, telling about the period up to the end of the 1930s. The second stage of the exhibition is still under development.
